AGCO POWER
AGCO Power, one of the world’s leading motor manufacturers for heavy-duty machines, was looking for a solution to present its products and engine plant virtually in a way that would reinforce its brand. We designed and built a virtual showroom and factory tour to shine a spotlight on AGCO Power’s products and expertise.
The challenge
A virtual factory and products
AGCO Power needed a solution to showcase its engine products to its customer virtually at a time when it was difficult to organise trade fairs. Another aim was to strengthen AGCO Power’s brand as a pioneer among motor manufacturers. Stakeholders, for their part, wanted to see the factory where the products are made – without the practical difficulties of an actual factory visit.
The solution
A virtual showroom and factory tour
We designed and created a virtual showroom for AGCO Power, showcasing the company’s products and services, and also a virtual factory tour. The showroom was created entirely through 3D modelling, while the virtual factory tour was created from 360º photos taken by Kuubi at the motor factory.
The production
Modern production and flexible content management
Kuubi created the virtual showroom with state-of-the-art technology based on cloud services, aiming for minimal maintenance. The showroom and the factory tour were built on the same platform, and both are almost entirely customer-managed through the flexible and user-friendly Storyblok content management system. AGCO Power’s HD series engines are showcased through interactive and animated 3D models using WebGL technology. The entire showroom is responsive and works on mobile devices. This includes the 3D models.
From the customer
"AGCO Power has been busy updating its branding and marketing communications since 2021 – with our engine products, of course, but also our advanced production technologies, in particular at our main factory in Linnavuori, Nokia. The COVID-19 pandemic showed that we need to have digital channels through which we can communicate effectively and leave a lasting impression on both internal and external audiences. The platform and solutions provided by Kuubi serve both of these needs perfectly.”
